The Culver Town Council members will hold a public hearing tonight on the proposed ordinance that would move the Culver Town Council candidate selection to the May Primary Election.
The Culver Town Council members reviewed an ordinance Tuesday night that would determine the process of nominating candidates for town office.
For the first time in the school’s history, the Argos School Board will be elected by a vote instead of the method of appointment.
Town conventions will be held to determine candidates for the November General Election Ballot for the Culver Town Council and the Bourbon Town Council.
Three seats on the Argos School Board will be up for grabs in the November 6th general election.

Today is the last chance for you to vote absentee in this year’s General Election.
The clerk’s offices in Starke County, Pulaski County and Marshall County will be open from 8 a.m. to noon local time to give you an opportunity to cast your important vote.
As of Friday afternoon, the Marshall County Clerk’s office reported 1,451 total absentee votes which includes mail-in, walk-in and travel board tallies while Pulaski County had 475 walk-in votes.
In less than a week voters will go to the polls for the general election. WKVI will provide live anchored coverage of election returns on Tuesday, Nov. 4th. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. local time. Results and complete coverage will begin after the news at 5 p.m. CT. WKVI reporters will be in Starke and Pulaski counties to gather information and interviews with candidates. Election results will also be given from Marshall County.
