Seven New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Marshall County

The number of new COVID-19 cases has ticked slightly higher. Another seven cases were reported in Marshall County, according to Saturday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. Starke and Pulaski counties each had four new cases.

Another person in Marshall County and one more person in Pulaski County have died of COVID-19.  They were among 29 new deaths listed in Thursday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. The total number of COVID-19 deaths in Marshall County is now up to 104 and it is up to 42 in Pulaski County.

Winter Weather Impacting COVID-19 Vaccine Shipments, Vaccination Appointments

This week’s winter weather has prompted Indiana to wait until at least next week to expand COVID-19 vaccine eligibility. During Wednesday’s press conference, Indiana Department of Health Chief Medical Officer Dr. Lindsay Weaver said that more than 43,000 appointments have been impacted by the winter storm.

Another 889 people in the state tested positive with COVID-19 as reflected in Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  One person in Marshall County tested positive with COVID-19 and one person in Starke County was diagnosed with COVID-19.  Pulaski County did not have any new cases.

Pulaski County Records Another COVID-19 Death

Another person in Pulaski County has died of COVID-19, pushing the total number of deaths there to 41.  Monday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health showed that resident was one of 19 additional people in the state who died of COVID-19 from December 13 to February 14.
