Two New COVID-19 Cases Reported Locally

Another 889 people in the state tested positive with COVID-19 as reflected in Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  One person in Marshall County tested positive with COVID-19 and one person in Starke County was diagnosed with COVID-19.  Pulaski County did not have any new cases.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Marshall County is up to 5,352. In Starke County, it is 1,844 and in Pulaski County it is 1,042

Another 40 people in the state died of COVID-19, which brings the total number of deaths to 11,805.  The total increases if 426 probable deaths are included. 

Residents over the age of 65, along with healthcare workers, long-term care residents and first responders are now eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine.  To schedule an appointment, visit https://ourshot.in.gov or call 211. 

As of Tuesday, over 828,000 residents in the state have gotten the first dose of the vaccine, including 5,051 people in Marshall County, 2,234 people in Starke County and 1,699 in Pulaski County.  The number of Hoosiers fully vaccinated totals 347,508 so far, which includes 2,200 people in Marshall County, 561 people in Starke County and 850 people in Pulaski County.
