Marshall County will be deploying a statewide case management system for its courts next year.
The county currently uses “CSI.” Officials from the county say the software has worked well, and they’ve been offered quality customer support. The state of Indiana, however, has made a push to put case management for their courts on a statewide system. The new system is called “Odyssey.”

An Argos woman was sentenced on Thursday to several years in prison stemming from a November 2014 incident.
The Marshall County Commissioners were provided an update from an organization that advocates for children in the court system.

A 25-year-old Plymouth man was sentenced to 10 years in prison yesterday in Marshall Superior Court on a meth manufacturing charge.
Another Plymouth resident was sentenced in Marshall County Superior court to prison time on meth related counts.
21-year-old Olivia Ketcham was facing charges of Conspiracy to Deal in Methamphetamine. That’s a Class B Felony. As part of a plea deal, Ketcham admitted in court that she assisted another individual in the delivery of meth to a confidential informant.
A Rochester man was sentenced on Thursday in Marshall County Superior Court.
28-year-old Kalin Hunsaker was given 20 years imprisonment for conspiracy to deal methamphetamine. The sentence was part of a plea deal that saw a forgery and habitual offender charge dropped. The 20-year sentence was the maximum allowable under the law.
A nine-year prison sentence was handed down on Thursday in Marshall County Superior Court for a Bremen man accused of cooking methamphetamine.
31-year-old Jerald Standifer received the sentence after being arrested in October of 2014. Officers allegedly located two one-pot meth labs in a car Standifer was driving on U.S. 31 near U.S. 30. Three others were arrested in the incident.
A Plymouth man has been sentenced to prison time for selling methamphetamine.
28-year-old Anthony Porter was arrested after a string of incidents in 2014 where he allegedly purchased products that include pseudoephedrine, a base ingredient of meth.
