Two juveniles are in custody after allegedly leading police on a pursuit through two counties early Sunday morning.
A Bourbon police officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on State Road 331 at 11B Road after the driver reportedly committed several traffic violations. Police say the driver drove the vehicle off to the side of the road, turned around and led police on a 14-mile pursuit into Kosciusko County. Speeds reached 110 mph, according to the report.



Three local law enforcement agencies will be working to keep impaired drivers off the streets in the upcoming Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign.
The Marshall County DUI Task Force recently conducted a sobriety checkpoint in the 1500 block of North Oak Drive in Plymouth and several officers participated in that enforcement.

Two people were arrested after a traffic stop allegedly turned up synthetic marijuana and methamphetamine. Bourbon Police say that around 8:15 Thursday night, they got a report that a white Pontiac with a possibly impaired driver was heading northbound on State Road 331 from State Road 10.
Two Bourbon men were taken to the Marshall County Jail in separate battery incidents this week. 
Officers from the Bourbon Police Department wrote 34 tickets and made one arrest for driving while intoxicated during a recent Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement blitz. The 25-day national and statewide campaign is aimed at curbing alcohol-related crashes.

The town of Bourbon has a new full-time police officer. Town Clerk Kim Berger swore in 38-year-old Carl Amsen on Friday. He’s a Bourbon native and Triton High School graduate who served five years in the United States Marine Corps.
An Etna Green man faces a felony charge in connection with a Friday night incident in Bourbon. Officers from the town police department responded to a report of gunshots in the area of 103 East Pine Street around 11:45 p.m., according to the incident report. They discovered the residence had been vandalized and shot at by people who were no longer in the area.
An Argos woman was airlifted to Memorial Hospital of South Bend last night after the pickup truck she was driving struck a building on State Road 331 in Tippecanoe.
