On Nov. 13 at 10:45 p.m. Plymouth Police officers investigated a call in the area of Skylane Drive.

The Marshall County Commissioners approved the request made by Judge Dean Colvin, President of Marshall County Community Corrections (MCCC) Advisory Board to approve the appointment of Andrew “Beau” Holcomb as the new Director.

Culver-Union Township Fire Chief Terry Wakefield asked the Culver Town Council members for permission to purchase a trailer for dive equipment out of the fire department’s budget.

The Bremen Town Council members discussed the golf cart ordinance at their most recent meeting.

The Town of Argos is gearing up for the holiday season.

The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members will meet tonight where they will receive updates on the Hoham Drive project.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is joining law enforcement agencies across the state to make sure everyone gets to their destination safely and plan ahead if alcohol is involved.

The Culver Town Council members were presented with an ordinance Tuesday, November 14 that amends application and improvement location permit fees.

A public hearing on the matter was opened for public comments. 

Building Commissioner Steve Gorski commented that the fees better reflect the cost of processing building permits and applications.  Town Attorney Jim Clevenger noted that some of the fees went up and some went down and the new fee schedule will go into effect January 1, 2024. 

There were no public comments. 

The ordinance amendment was unanimously approved on the first reading.  The rules were then suspended and the ordinance was unanimously approved on second and third reading.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety approved several requests during their regular meeting Monday, November 13.

The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today where Judge Dean Colvin will present a recommendation to name a director of Marshall County Community Corrections. He will also have a 2024 grant agreement for approval.

The Culver Community School Board will meet tonight where the members will discuss board vacancy interviews and appoint a member to replace Michael Pazin who recently resigned from the board.

The Argos Community School Board members will meet tonight where they will discuss the PATHS Special Education Agreement for the 2024-2025 school year.
