New Plymouth Police Officer Sworn into Office

Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members were updated on operations at the Plymouth Police Department Monday night. 

New Plymouth Police Officer Jesse Witkowski was sworn in Monday.

Plymouth Police Chief David Bacon updated the board that the department now has 25 officers and will remain at that number for a couple of months until the Chief retires and creates a vacancy.

Officer Kenton Lovely and Officer Jakub Mark have been at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy since late August. They will graduate in December and will return to work the road.

Officer Lance Balsley is in Field Training. Officer Witkowski will attend the academy next year.
