High Wind Warning Issued for Northern Indiana
A high wind warning is in effect for our area until late tonight. South winds are expected to veer southwest and rapidly increase this morning. By afternoon they will become west, according to the National Weather Service. Sustained wind speeds of between 25 and 40 miles per hour are expected, with widespread gusts of 50 to 55 miles per hour. Continue reading

IMPA Cuts Ribbon on Argos Solar Park
A ribbon cutting ceremony took place Tuesday afternoon to celebrate an alternative source of electricity for the Town of Argos.
The Argos Solar Park, developed by the Indiana Municipal Power Agency, took several months to complete, boasting 2,700 solar panels on just under seven acres of land. The solar park is expected to produce .7 Megawatts.
