During the second January meeting of the Argos Town Council, Council Member Robert Byers informed the rest of the council that his company has vending machines located in the Argos parks and that the board appoints members to the Argos Park Board and he is the Park Board liaison as a non-voting member.
ARGOS — On Wednesday night, the Argos Town Council held its last meeting in July and on the agenda was an amendment to the Lot Coverage Zoning section of the town’s zoning ordinance.
The Argos Town Council held a short meeting last week, during the citizen’s input section of the meeting, there was a question about the downtown parking lot and whether or not the lines will be repainted. The citizen that spoke asked if it was on the agenda for summer.
Out of the four Republican candidates that ran to be on the GOP ballot for the Mayor of Plymouth, Greg Compton secured 49.46 percent of the votes. Compton advances to the General Election in November where he and Democrat candidate Robert Listenberger will compete to be the next Mayor of Plymouth.
During the latest meeting of the Plymouth Community School Corporation (PCSC) School Board, a presentation updating the board about the North Central CTE Cooperative was given by Jennifer Felke, Director of Career and Technical Education.
