Plymouth Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson updated the Plymouth Board of Works and Safety members last week on the water main extension project on West Lake Avenue.

During Monday’s Marshall County Council meeting, Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel discussed wages for seasonal deputies who mainly work the lake patrol at Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver. A grant for wages was obtained by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Lake Maxinkuckee Association is providing a large portion of the wages.

The fee schedule committee reviewed several fee changes from the various departments within the City of Plymouth over the past several months and the first reading of an ordinance with those proposed increases was presented to the Plymouth City Council Monday night.

Bourbon Business Reports Fake Currency
Fake currency was spotted by an employee at Freedom Express in Bourbon.
According to the Bourbon Police Department, the fraudulent $10 bill was found in the parking lot of the business. The bill clearly states that it is a prop and that it is not legal tender. A lot of the regular identifying features on the $10 bill are missing, but the overall coloring looks like a $10 bill.
