Marshall County Community Foundation Grant Applications Due This Week

The next round of Marshall County Community Foundation grant applications should be turned in on Wednesday, Aug. 1 by 4:30 p.m.

Representatives are encouraging flood-related grant applications in this grant round. The grant committee will give priority consideration during the deliberations to nonprofit grant proposals intentionally designed to assist vulnerable flood-affected families and communities.

Grant money can assist these organizations to continue to provide valuable services to flood survivors in need.

Committee members will also review emergent needs and/or innovative programs in Marshall County. Grants support specific projects or programs throughout Marshall County typically focusing on the arts, education, health and human services, and environment.

Grant applicants must be organizations with a 501(c)(3) IRS status or organizations with a 501(c) IRS status whose request is charitable in nature for start-up costs for new programs or the expansion of needed programs or one-time projects or needs.

The grant application is available online at marshallcountycf.org.
