Bremen School Board to Hold Work Session Saturday Morning

The Bremen Public School Board will hold a work session Saturday morning with the Bremen Town Council to gauge interest in the construction of an aquatic facility.

Bremen School Board President Brian Teall made the appeal to the Bremen Town Council members last week who proposed an initial discussion to build an aquatic center for use all year round by students and residents. He said the facility could include the pool and other amenities like exercise equipment and fitness classes.

If there is support, then a decision can be made later to move forward with more research into design and cost.

The work session will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Bremen Town Hall.
