The Culver Town Council members took time during their meeting Thursday, February 22 to recognize Dan Adams.

Dan Adams has been a member of the Culver Board of Zoning Appeals and has served the town and several organizations honorably for many years. He was recognized for his dedicated service to the Town of Culver and received a certificate for his efforts.

The town council also opened a public hearing concerning the rezoning of the property at 16323 Redwood Road from Suburban-1 to Agriculture-1. Town Manager Kevin Danti stated that it was initially zoned agriculture and the property owner wanted to return it to that zoning. The owner wishes to grow crops and hay in that area.

There were no comments during the public hearing.

The town council agreed to suspend the rules and approve the ordinance on all three readings that would rezone the property as presented.
