The Culver Town Council members opened bids this week for an upcoming Community Crossings project.
Culver Town Manager Ginny Bess Munroe said only one bid was received and it was from Rieth-Riley Construction Company. The bid was for the widening of Lakeshore Drive from Academy to State Road 10 in the amount of $1,204,942.
Munroe previously explained that the project will involve moving sanitation/sewer lines and it will incorporate bike lanes in that area.
A representative from VS Engineering will review the bid as submitted and the Culver Town Council will consider the approval of the bid at the next meeting Tuesday, March 14.
