Culver Town Council Rejects Community Crossings Matching Grant Bid

The Culver Town Council members opened bids for Community Crossings projects during their most recent meeting.  This is the second time the council requested bids for the project that involves the widening of Lakeshore Drive from Academy to State Road 10 and moving sanitation/sewer lines.  Bike lanes will be incorporated in that area.

Plymouth Board of Works Awards Bid for Street/Sidewalk Projects

Plymouth IndianaThe bid to complete work for Plymouth’s 2016 Street and Sidewalk Projects was awarded on Monday.

The Plymouth Board of Works considered the recommendation from Street Department Superintendent Jim Marquardt. He says Walsh and Kelly, asphalt contractors out of Griffith, Indiana, submitted the low bid for the project of $349-thousand.

Culver Seeking Alternatives After Incorrect Bid

The Culver Town Council may have to go back to the drawing board for work to the Town Hall’s Roof.

The Town accepted bids to upgrade the roof at the Town Hall as well as a second building. Work to the Town Hall was stopped, however, because the bid did not include the price of labor.
