Marshall County Commissioners Sign Contracts for Community Crossings Projects

Marshall County Community Crossings funded projects will get underway soon.

Marshall County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters presented contracts for the five projects for signature by the county commissioners last week.  Contracts were signed for E&B Paving for the project on Dogwood Road from State Road 331 to U.S. 6 in the amount of $122,650; Rieth Riley for North Michigan from the City Limits to Veteran’s Parkway in the amount of $249,143 and 9B from Union to the County Line for $263,543.85; and Walsh and Kelly for Dogwood Road from U.S. 6 to the County Line for $334,214.80 and 11th Road from U.S. 31 to South Michigan Street in the amount of $127,170.31.

Peters indicated that the Walsh and Kelly projects may begin by the end of this month.  Information from the other companies was not available during last week’s meeting.
