Clock in Downtown Bremen to be Repaired in June

The clock that hangs in front of the Bremen Town Hall will be fixed in Mid-June.

Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy told the town council members this week that he received an email from the company representatives who are going to do the work.  The clock will get a new face, new hands and drives inside the piece of equipment.  A check for half of the cost to repair the clock was sent to the Mount Vernon Clock Company in Ohio.  The Bremen Town Council members approved the quote at $6,345 during their meeting earlier this month.

The clock is about 23 years old.  The cost to repair it was much less than it was to replace it.
