A TIF Resolution that was prepared by Argos Town Attorney Derek Jones was presented to Redevelopment Commission and Planning Commission members last week.
The members of both commissions provided their approval for the resolution which would establish a TIF District at the recently created Industrial Park.
Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney noted that the resolution has a few more steps before it goes into effect. At the recommendation of the redevelopment commission, the resolution will come before the Town Council for their approval and then it will go back before the redevelopment commission once again.
The resolution will be discussed more by town officials during future meetings.
