Argos Town Council members approved a declaratory resolution to establish a TIF area when they met last month.
Argos Redevelopment Commission Vice President Mark VanDerWeele informed council members that while the resolution can be amended at any time, they would have to restart the lengthy approval process over from the beginning if any changes are made. Continue reading
A TIF Resolution that was prepared by Argos Town Attorney Derek Jones was presented to Redevelopment Commission and Planning Commission members last week.

According to Argos Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney, a portion of the property that was given to the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation will be returned to the town of Argos.
