Argos Town Council members, Marshall County Economic Development Corporation members, Marshall County Commission and Council members officially cut the ribbon on a new Manufacturing Center in Argos Wednesday morning.
The Argos Manufacturing Center is located at 151 Dewey Street, just off of U.S. 31. It was built in the town’s 75-acre Shovel Ready Certified Park. The building is 50,000 square feet and expandable to 300,000 square feet and can be customized to meet an industry’s needs. The area offers rail service and access to high speed fiber optics.
According to Marshall County EDC President and CEO Jerry Chavez, this project represents years of work on behalf of the corporation and the Town of Argos to spur industrial development and community growth. Chavez added that this project received $400,000 in Regional Cities funding due to its ability to improve quality of place by attracting new industry and talent to the community.
