The Marshall County Commissioners will consider a speed limit and stop sign ordinance on Veterans Parkway and Linden Road. They will also discuss the 2018 road plan for Underwood Road in Union Township and 12th Road in Bourbon Township.
Auditor Julie Fox will update the commissioners on the public hearing date concerning petitions filed against the Cumulative Bridge Fund increase. Those who filed the petition opposing the increase of $.0524 per $100 of assessed valuation to reestablish the Cumulative Bridge Fund will appear before the officials from the Department of Local Government Finance to give testimony detailing their objections.
Highway Supervisor Jason Peters will give an update on projects as well as an LPA response to INDOT. Zak Dean and Laurie Johnson from DLZ will present a report on the Hickory Road bridge project. Recorder Marlene Mahler will discuss a doc router software agreement and two copy ordinances.
Marshall County Community Corrections Director Ward Byers, Judge Dean Colvin, Clerk Deb VanDeMark, Prosecutor Nelson Chipman, and Sheriff Matt Hassel will present various requests. County Attorney James Clevenger will update the commissioners on a few topics.
The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. today in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
