The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members reviewed the intergovernmental agreement with Marshall County for planning services.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi explained that Marshall County Planning Director Ralph Booker does planning service work for the City of Plymouth during his county work hours as outlined in a contract between the two entities.
With Booker’s impending retirement on June 30 as Marshall County Planning Director, it was decided to review his contract on a three-month term rather than an annual basis. Surrisi said the board approved the contract from January to March, but did not review it after the first three months.
Surrisi said the same terms apply and the pay will remain the same. He will appear with Booker before the Marshall County Commissioners on Monday morning to discuss the contract.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members unanimously approved the agreement as presented.
