Plymouth School Board Reorganizes, Approves Yearly Appointments

The Plymouth School Board approved several yearly appointments when it met last week. No major changes were made.

The school board decided to keep Jeff Houin as its attorney, for the same hourly rate of $155. School Board President Todd Samuelson, Vice-President Larry Holloway, and Secretary Melissa Christiansen will all keep those positions for another year. Board members will continue to get $2,000 in compensation.

Samuelson will keep serving as the board’s legislative liaison. Christiansen was designated the board’s negotiation liaison. She and Larry Pinkerton will stay on Plymouth Schools’ strategic plan committee. Board members also reappointed Corporation Treasurer Kandi Tinkey and Deputy Treasurer Wendy Haenes.

Most regular school board meetings will continue to be held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
