The City of Plymouth is once again discussing the signage at a local ice cream parlor. Last year, the placement of a sign at Mooney’s Ice Cream led to discussions with both the Plymouth Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. The Plymouth Board of Works approved a sign to be placed in the roundabout at Michigan Road and Veteran’s Parkway earlier this year. The goal was to improve the look of the community while greeting those traveling to the area.

Gateway signage for the City of Plymouth will be moved slightly.
During a meeting last month, the Plymouth Board of Works approved a memorandum of understanding with Marshall County to place a sign welcoming visitors to Plymouth in the roundabout at Michigan Road and Veteran’s Parkway.

During Monday night’s Plymouth Board of Works meeting, gateway signage was considered to help promote and improve the look of the community.
