Plymouth Man Arrested for Sunday Morning Strangulation Incident
A Plymouth man has been arrested after Police say he strangled an individual who eventually reported the incident.
Officers got the call around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, but were apparently unaware of what had occurred. The Plymouth Police Department said there was a language barrier that prevented an understanding of the call.
Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Discovery
A vehicle stopped in Plymouth on Friday led to the discovery of methamphetamine.
42-year-old Roger Runyon of South Bend was driving on US 30 around 10:00 p.m. when officers stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation. Further investigation revealed that Runyon was wanted on a warrant out of Fulton County for Failure to Appear in court.

Counterfeit Bills Circulating Culver Not Seen For Period
Residents in Culver are being asked to be on the lookout for counterfeit bills.
According to officials with the Town of Culver, the bills are largely focused to $20 bills and higher. The counterfeit currency is said to look fairly realistic, but is missing a key watermark in addition to the reflective ink typically associated with real bills.
City of Plymouth Celebrates Retirement of Long-Time Dispatcher
The City of Plymouth celebrated the retirement of a long-time public servant on Tuesday.
Mary Young worked as a dispatcher for nearly 40 years with the Plymouth Police Department. Young worked with Plymouth Police Chief Dave Bacon as an IDACS coordinator – which is the database for stolen items, drivers licenses, and license plates.

A Plymouth man is in custody after police allege he stabbed another man multiple times, Sunday evening.
Officers were called to the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Plymouth for a fight.
Authorities Find Nothing In Sweep Of Culver School
Students were on lockdown for a short time at Culver High School on Monday.
Staff at the school, along with authorities, conducted a routine sweep of the building to check for any illicit substances. The school corporation has been conducting the sweeps for some time.

Three Arrested On Dealing and Possession Charges
Plymouth police made several arrests after a search warrant was executed Thursday afternoon.
In conjunction with the Indiana State Police, Plymouth officers responded to the 900 block of North Michigan Street. Authorities allegedly located what they’re describing as “acid” and cannabis on the scene. The amount of illicit substances located is not known at this time.
