ISP Releases Investigation Information from Fatal Crash Involving School Bus

Following several hours of investigation, the Indiana State Police have released additional information that can be added to the claim settlement which is about the fatal accident involving an Eastern Pulaski Community School bus that occurred on U.S. 31 Wednesday morning. The collision reportedly claimed the life of a teenage boy.

At the time of the crash, the bus was occupied by 38 eighth grade students and three chaperones that were on the way to see a Christmas musical in Warsaw.  Continue reading

Spike in Drug Overdoses Seen in Marshall County Last Weekend

A spike in drug overdoses over the Thanksgiving weekend has the Marshall County Health Department urging residents to learn to use the overdose reversal drug Narcan. A total of seven overdose events were reported in Marshall County last Saturday and Sunday, according to the Indiana State Department of Health Overdose Surveillance Team. None of them were fatal.

Two Claypool Men Arrested After Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K9 Sniffs Out Illegal Substances

A Friday evening traffic stop in Argos resulted in the arrest of two Claypool residents.

Plymouth Residents Arrested for Cocaine Possession, Following Friday Night Traffic Stop

A Friday night traffic stop led to two Plymouth residents being arrested for cocaine possession. Marshall County Police say that around 8:50 p.m., they tried to pull over a 2012 Nissan pickup truck near the intersection of 9A and Richter roads. When the driver, Roberto Landron Fonseca, 27, stopped the truck in the Ace Fitness parking lot in Plymouth, police reportedly discovered that he was driving without a license.

Plymouth Man Faces Multiple Charges Following Monday Evening Altercation on Vine Street

The Marshall County 911 Dispatch center received a call Monday evening regarding an altercation at a residence in the 17,000 block of Vine Street.

Marshall County Police Conduct Traffic Stop on Allegedly Intoxicated Mishawaka Man

A Mishawaka is facing multiple charges, following a Saturday evening traffic stop.

Around 10 p.m. on Saturday, November 3rd, Marshall County Patrolman Andrew Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on a black 2013 Jeep Patriot in the area of US 6 and Pine Road. The driver, identified as 38-year-old Jesse Alan Howard committed multiple infractions, according to police. Continue reading
