Court Appointed Special Advocates provided Marshall County with its annual report on Monday morning.
Executive Director Chastity Keller introduced herself as the new executive director of the group in Marshall County. She has been serving as the organization’s leader for the past three months.




A Plymouth woman was sentenced on Wednesday after she pleaded guilty to charges stemming from her alleged attempts to drown her six-year-old daughter.
Krysti Lavanway has had her request for a sentencing appeal denied by an appellate court.
A Plymouth man was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Wednesday for his alleged involvement in a 2015 stabbing. 
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department will be getting an upgrade to some equipment used to interview possible suspects.
