Three people were injured in an accident on Friday morning in the 14,600 block of State Road 110 west of Olive Road in Culver.
Around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6th Maribel Sosa, of Bremen, was travelling eastbound on US 6 west of Douglas Road in a 2014 Honda CRV, when she reportedly fell asleep, crossed the center line and struck a 2016 International ProStar Semi driven by Jesse Manderson of Indianapolis.
According to Marshall County Police incident report, Sosa had to be cut from her vehicle by the Bremen Fire Department and she was transported to the Bremen Hospital by Lutheran EMS. Continue reading
Two fatalities and critical injuries have been reported after a vehicle allegedly fled from police and ran a red light Saturday night.
According to an ISP press release, around 9:20 p.m. on January 13th, an Indiana State Trooper was responding to a theft that apparently occurred at the Meijer located at 1200 Lake City Highway in Warsaw. The report indicates that the trooper saw a car that matched the description of the suspect vehicle, which was described as a white 2003 Pontiac Grand Am.
The suspect vehicle reportedly fled eastbound on US 30 and drove through a red light at the intersection of US 30 and Parker Street, crashing into three other vehicles. Continue reading
The driver involved in a Sunday morning accident fled the scene on foot and left the passenger in the car.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, a 2005 Acura was traveling westbound on Plymouth-Goshen Trail just east of Randolph Street shortly after 6 a.m. when it left the north side of the road for an unknown reason. The report states that a vehicle struck a utility pole and caused power lines to fall on the ground. The vehicle continued a short distance into a field where it came to a stop.
