Two-Vehicle Crash in Bremen Sends Plymouth Woman to the Hospital Friday Afternoon

A two-vehicle accident that occurred in Bremen on Friday afternoon sent one driver to the hospital.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reports that around 4:40 p.m. on September 7th, a 2014 Ford Mustang driven by 63-year-old Martha J.Parot, of Bremen, was turning from US 6 eastbound to Dogwood Road northbound when another vehicle was waiting to turn from US 6 westbound onto Dogwood Road southbound.

The police report indicates that while Parot was turning, a 2016 Hyundai Sonata driven by 26-year-old Candy Sosa Witt, of Plymouth, passed the other vehicle on the right shoulder of the roadway and then collided with Parot’s Mustang.

According to police, Parot sustained non-life threatening injuries and refused E.M.S treatment. However, Witt sustained injuries and was unresponsive. She was first transported to Bremen Hospital but was then flown to another hospital for further medical treatment.
