A Plymouth man is dead following a single vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in Marshall County.
The incident occurred on Redwood Road, south of 9th road, at around 4:30 p.m.
According to information provided by Indiana State Police, the 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis traveled off the side of the roadway and struck a tree. The cause of the change in direction is not known by investigators.
65-year-old Robert Gross had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency responders. He was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries sustained.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing, but officers don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
