Culver Town Council Approves Quote for Sport Court Tiles

CULVER — The Culver Town Council approved a quote by VersaCourt in the amount of $34,131.08 for the installation of sport court tiles at the Alex Pare´ Basketball Court. The new surface will include lines for basketball and pickleball and a portable pickleball net.

Culver Community School Board Considers Contractor for Ventilation Project

The Culver Community School Board members considered a recommendation from SiteLogIQ to hire Herman and Goetz, Inc. to complete ventilation project work.

Superintendent Karen Shuman reminded the board members of the proposed projects.

“This is the project that is replacing two air handling units at the high school and two air handling units, plus a rooftop unit, at the Elementary School that we’re using ESSER II money for,” explained Shuman.  “We had a bid from D.A. Dodd and a bid from Herman and Goetz, Inc. and Herman and Goetz has been approved to meet the specifications of the bid packet.”

The board members approved the recommendation with a unanimous vote.

Linda Rippy Honored by Marshall County Commissioners

Plymouth Community School Board Amends Student Handbook Regarding eLearning Days

The Plymouth Community School Corporation (PCSC) board amended the student handbook to remove the limit of three consecutive eLearning Days. Prior to the amendment, designated make-up days during the academic school year or added to the end of the school year would have been required.
