Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Announces Total Collected from Recent Fundrasier, Youth Camp Information

Efforts to raise funds for a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department employee’s family member in a No Shave November event by officers, staff and community members resulted in a collection of $440.  The proceeds went toward the cost of cancer treatments for that family member, according to an announcement by the Sheriff’s Department.

City of Plymouth to Implement Flood Control with Detention Pond at Corner of Garro St. and Plum St., Pretty Lake Conservancy Expanded to Include Condominiums

Utilities Superintendent Donnie Davidson presented a proposal for a flood control solution to the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety for the corner of Garro St. and Plum St. This lot is where the old Eagles Building sits; and is across from the Marshall County Neighborhood Center. Davidson said, “Historically that area has received a lot of flooding. Recently it caused major damage mainly to the Neighborhood Center.”

Safety the Focus of New INDOT Project

The Indiana Department of Transportation broke ground on a $28.7 million project Friday, April 21 to construct overpass bridges on northbound and southbound U.S. 31 over Elkhart Western Railroad between 13th Rd. and 14th Rd. near Plymouth.
