Plymouth Man Arrested Following Call of Possible Shooting

A Plymouth man is in custody for a charge of criminal recklessness with a firearm.

Plymouth Police were called to a possible shooting near St. Michaels School in Plymouth Wednesday, May 31 just before 12:45 a.m. ET.  The vehicle containing the victims was located near North Walnut and Jackson Streets and they advised officers that their vehicle had been shot at by a white male with a handgun, according to the report.

In a sweep of the area, officers located a man matching the victim’s description and identified him as Daniel Allen.

Police say Allen was combative, but was taken into custody.  A weapon also matching the victim’s description was located.

Allen was charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness with a firearm, and resisting law enforcement.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
