Culver Town Council Approves Representative to Marshall County Tourism Commission

The Culver Town Council approved a resolution during their recent meeting to appoint a representative to the Marshall County Tourism Commission.

The Marshall County Commissioners recently approved an ordinance that establishes a seven-member Marshall County Tourism Commission. The ordinance indicates that five members will be appointed by the Marshall County Commissioners, and the Mayor of the City of Plymouth will have two appointees.

The Culver Town Council approved the recommended appointment of Mark Damore, Jr. to the Marshall County Tourism Commission for the consideration of the commissioners.

In other business, the council approved a quote from Peerless Midwest for the cleaning and rehabilitation of Well B for $43,440. This work will ensure the continued performance of the well.

The council also approved the purchase of a Titan Powerliner 3500 Paint Sprayer in the amount of $5,599. According to Town Manager Kevin Danti, the sprayer will address the demand for maintenance of curbs as well as additional painting projects.
