Triton Community School Board Discusses Personnel, Chromebooks Purchase

The Triton Community School Board held discussion last week about gearing up for the next school year in interviewing people for open positions and the possibility of adding more positions.

Additionally, Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said the board considered the purchase of Chromebooks.

“We approved the quote for 325 Lenovo 100 E Chromebooks for our second, fifth, seventh and tenth graders,” stated Riffle.

Riffle also shared with the board that the high school upper deck bleachers were removed last week. These original bleachers have been repaired numerous times and it was time to update the upper bleachers.  The update will provide the maintenance staff with the opportunity to provide handrails for patrons and improve the safety of the space. This project is projected to be completed before graduation.
