Plymouth Redevelopment Commission Holds Public Hearing on Amendment of Economic Development Plan

The Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members opened a public hearing Tuesday night for the proposed amendment of the Economic Development Plan for U.S. 30/Pine Road Economic Development Area in TIF #3.

There were no public comments.

Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi previously explained that the list would add improvements to Commerce Drive in support of the development of a new hotel on Miller Drive.

He explained at that time that the resolution went to the Plan Commission for review of whether the project is supported by the Comprehensive Plan, which received a favorable recommendation.

The resolution was brought before the Plymouth City Council for the review of the recommendation by the Plan Commission and the resolution was approved by the council with a unanimous vote.

This week, the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission took formal action to approve the resolution with a unanimous vote.
