Paving Projects in Plymouth to Start Soon

Paving projects in Plymouth should be underway soon.

Plymouth Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members that E&B Paving is in town this week to mark the projects.

“They plan on sawing concrete on Friday for the handicapped ramps that have to be done within the projects, and then follow through with paving after that,” Marquardt said.

A start date has not yet been determined.

There may be a restriction on parking on a couple of streets. Residents will be given a 48-hour notice of when the parking restrictions begin, if necessary.  The board approved a request for those restrictions with a unanimous vote.

The streets in this round of paving include Fifth Street from Harrison to the railroad crossing, Flora from Harrison to PIDCO, Angel from Ewing to the dead end, Felix from Hillcrest to Pearson, Hillcrest from Red Oak to Winding Oak, Crimson from Hillcrest to the west dead end, and Garro from Ben Lane to Laporte.
