The Plymouth Board of Public Works (BPW) approved the street closure request made by the President of Heartland Artists Gallery Anna Kietzman for the 8th annual Art in the Street event Saturday, July 30.
The Marshall County Council members considered a joint resolution Monday morning that contained a petition for the formation of a Regional Sewer District. The Marshall County Commissioners approved a similar resolution during their meeting last week.
The end of the state Public Health Emergency on March 3 and a recent change in Indiana law means that Hoosiers will receive emergency enhanced Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits until the end of May.
The number of COVID-19 cases in the state remains low. In Monday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health, there were 137 new cases in the state. Marshall County and Starke County had one new COVID-19 case in each county while there were no new cases in Pulaski County.
The Culver Community School Board members accepted funding last week to expand the availability of connectivity in the school district, according to Superintendent Karen Shuman.

The Argos School Board members will meet tonight where they will look at documents pertaining to the cafeteria and classroom additions and pre-construction costs.

PLYMOUTH — At long last members of the community and partners celebrated the Plymouth Garden Court Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of Saint Katharina Serenity Place, a permanent supportive housing project, Thursday afternoon.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department underwent an update in software with Jail Management System, the Records Management System, and Computer Aided Dispatch, according to Sheriff Matt Hassel.
The number of COVID-19 cases in the state remains low. There were 391 new cases in the state in Thursday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health. Marshall County and Starke County had three new cases each, while Pulaski County did not have any new cases.
