Plymouth Board of Public Works, City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will consider a street closure request from the Heartland Artists Gallery and review a storm sewer easement memo.

Department heads will provide updates as necessary.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the Plymouth City Council at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The Plymouth City Council will look at a job description for a semi-skilled laborer.  They will consider the approval of an ordinance to amend the code of ordinances pertaining to volunteer firefighters and another ordinance that amends the 2022 salary ordinance.

Two commercial revitalization grant requests will be presented with a resolution to approve, if favorable.  The council will also look at adopting a plan to spend the American Rescue Plan Act funds.  A discussion will be held concerning the comprehensive plan. 

Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street.  Those interested in attending the meeting should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
