The Triton Community School Corporation will be getting two new buses following action taken by the school board last week, according to Superintendent Jeremy Riffle.
“We approved the purchase of two 2022 Thomas C2 66-passenger buses, and one Thomas 54-passenger bus with a lift,” commented Riffle.
Riffle noted that the average cost was $103,000 for two of the buses, and about $111,000 for the bus with the lift.
The bus purchases are part of the corporation’s bus replacement plan.
The buses have been ordered and delivery may be in fall of 2022.
