The Marshall County Commissioners opened bids Monday morning for costs pertaining to the demolition of 590-600 W. Jefferson Street in Culver.
County Attorney Jim Clevenger explained that the building was partially burned and the owner has not taken action as requested by the Marshall County Unsafe Building Board. The board agreed to take bids in order to demolish the building.
The bid from Langfeldt Excavating was $6,060 and the bid from Jerry Reed Excavating was $6,000.
The Marshall County Unsafe Building Board members will review those bids and make a determination at their meeting this month.
