Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi and Plymouth Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will be touring the manufacturing center on Jim Neu Drive this week.
Surrisi told the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission members Tuesday night that they are touring the building with some business prospects along with representatives from the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.
The building is nearing the end of construction.
The building at 2809 Jim Neu Drive is 43,000 square feet that is expandable to over 100,000 square feet to fit a company’s needs with easy access to U.S. 30 and U.S. 31. Majority Builders is the contractor for the project.
The project cost is about $2.1 million that is funded, in part, by a Regional Development Authority loan of $400,000 and $1.7 million to be financed by the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation through Centier Bank.
The construction process suffered a few delays during the pandemic, but it is on track to offer a company a customizable building to fit needs of a specific operation.
