The Argos Town Council members opened a public hearing last week to take public comments on the proposed amendment of the zoning map following a request from Colonial Court, MHP, LLC.
The rezoning would take that property from General Business to Mobile Home as it is an existing mobile home park.
The request received a favorable recommendation from the Argos Planning Commission who passed a resolution to that fact August 3.
There were no comments given on the rezoning request during the public hearing.
An ordinance pertaining to that zoning change was approved on all three readings with a unanimous vote by the Argos Town Council members after suspending the rules to allow that action.
