Plymouth Skate Park Temporarily Closed Due to Vandalism

The skate park located at Centennial Park in Plymouth is closed for the next few days due to vandalism.

Park Superintendent Michael Hite told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members Monday night that graffiti was found on several pieces at the skate park.  An investigation is ongoing and officials continue to collect information in the incident.

He noted that several groups have volunteered to help clean up the mess.

Hite said the clean-up may be complete by the end of the day Tuesday.  If it is not cleaned by that time, the area will remain closed until the project is complete.
