Marshall County department heads have submitted their budgets for 2022 to the Marshall County Auditor’s office.
Auditor Julie Fox told the Marshall County Commissioners Monday morning that the budget hearings will begin after the regular business of the Marshall County Council Monday, August 9. All budgets will be presented which could take a lot of the day to prepare them for advertisement, and then the council will reduce the budget or make other adjustments in September.
Funding revenue projections will be sent to the auditor in the near future. She does not anticipate large adjustments, or a large reduction in revenue due to the pandemic, but more will be learned once information is released from the state.
