Enrollment Increases at Triton Community School Corporation

The first day of school at Triton Community School Corporation found an increase of the number students attending school at the corporation so far.

Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said enrollment has increased by 30 students so far this year, but more solid numbers will come in as the first few days are in the books.

The official Average Daily Membership count is in September.

Riffle added that the Triton School Board members approved the status quo contracts of teachers Monday night until those contracts can be ratified after September 15.  After the contracts are negotiated and approved by the November deadline date, teachers will be compensated for any changes retroactive to a certain start date.
