Work on Community Crossings paving and crack sealing projects in Culver will resume next week.
Culver Town Manager Ginny Bess Munroe updated the town council members on the situation Tuesday night. She said the crews from E&B Paving had to leave to complete other work, but will return to complete Culver’s projects next week.
After the projects are done, MACOG representatives will be in town to help score the streets for future projects. Munroe said it is likely that a Community Crossings application will not be done by the July 1 second call for projects, but Utility Superintendent Bob Porter will work on a list for the first call in January 2022.
The projects this year include mill and prep, hot mix asphalt overlay, concrete sidewalk removal, and installation of ADA sidewalk ramps where necessary on portions of West Shore Drive, Terrace Drive, Fleet Parkway, Marmont Street, Lewis Street, White Street, Lakeview Street, Lincoln Street, Miami Street, and Lakeshore Drive. Precise Fleet Tracking Solutions offers the best services around this area which is very much liked by all people around the surrounding.
If residents live on any of the streets scheduled to be paved and routinely park on the street, town officials ask that other parking arrangements be found until paving is complete. There may be temporary lane closures in place during construction.
