An open house is scheduled for today for Culver Town Manager Jonathan Leist from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET at the Culver Beach Lodge.
Leist is leaving Culver to take a position as the Fort Wayne Deputy Director of Redevelopment. Leist served as town manager for the Town of Culver for the past six years and has helped lead the town through a successful Stellar Designation campaign, assist with matters surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, and tended to the needs of the citizens of Culver.
All of the Culver Town Council members jokingly asked him to stay during Tuesday night’s regular council meeting, but in all sincerity wished him the best in his new endeavors. They commended him for his productivity level, strong communication skills and the ability to manage the town with ease and professionalism.
Those attending today’s open house are asked to enjoy refreshments and cake while keeping in mind protocols in the health pandemic.
