The Marshall County Commissioners reviewed a request from Clerk Deb VanDeMark and the Marshall County Election Board members about an increase in pay for Inspectors and Opposite Judges who work on Election Day.
The recommendation was to increase the Inspectors’ pay from $120 to $140 and the Opposite Judges pay from $110 to $130. It was explained that an increase in pay for these poll workers has not changed over the last several years.
The commissioners approved the recommendation with a unanimous vote.
