Culver Reinstating Public Health Emergency, Restricting Public Access at Town Hall

The Town of Culver is reinstating several COVID-19 restrictions, amid the upsurge in cases. In an emergency meeting Friday, the town council agreed to once again declare a public health emergency.

Culver Town Hall will be open by appointment only, and utility customers are encouraged to pay by check or online whenever possible. The drop box in the police station lobby will remain available. Indoor park facility rentals will have to follow state and local guidelines for maximum gathering sizes, and park department fitness classes will be limited to eight people.

The town council may continue to meet in-person, but council members want to shift most public participation online or over the phone.
